In March 2012, the City of Osaka established the "Smart Community Verification Test Project for the Sakishima District". The plan heralds the start of efforts aimed at achieving a smart community and conducted in collaboration with companies located in the City of Osaka and Sakishima District, and businesses as well as universities and other research organizations participating in initiatives in the new environment, energy, and RT (robot technology) fields. The Sakishima-Asia Smart Community Alliance is a private organization aimed at promoting business and achieving collaboration among participating businesses for the sake of achieving the Sakishima District Smart Community.
With our sights set on realizing a smart community in the Sakishima district, we will be engaging in a variety of initiatives that will allow for overseas project expansion. |
